Need To Know...

How do I go about commissioning you for our date?
I take commissions on a first-come, first served basis. A retainer fee of $1,500 and a signed agreement are required to reserve your date. The remaining balance is due 14 days before the wedding.

How can I pay you?
I accept cash, cheques, bank e-transfers and credit card. Whatever works best for you.

Can we meet you?
You sure can, I'd love to catch up and make sure we are a good fit for each other! I try to keep meetings during the week but will try and be as accommodating as possible. I'm also more than happy to Facetime, Zoom or any video chat you prefer.

How many images will you deliver?
More images than you can shake a stick at. It seems like every season I’m delivering more and more photos to clients. I average 300-600 images upon delivery depending on your package and hours covered.

How long does it take to edit the photos?
Portrait sessions are usually complete within 3-6 weeks, and wedding packages can take anywhere from 5-10 weeks depending on the season. We hand-correct and edit every single photo in your package, so this can take, well…a LOT of time! It’s worth it though.

Will we get a copy of the digital images?
You bet. I won’t hold your images ransom. You’ll get a fully processed high resolution online gallery and the digital files loaded on a keepsake USB key. The online gallery can be shared with your family and friends, where you can all download, share, or order prints as you wish.

Do we receive a copy of the RAW or unqualified photos?
No, by commissioning me to capture your day it also includes entrusting me to use my best judgment in the final selection and post-production process. I discard images that are technically unacceptable, due to colour, exposure, focus or other technical reason. I will use my best judgment to select the pictures that most accurately tell the story of your day. If it’s a great image, you’ll see it.

How do you “FINISH” our photos?
I use my custom recipe and artistic intuition to choose which photos look best finished in individual styles. This means your final gallery of photos will have the best images, finished in a manner I've chosen best shows them off. A wedding gallery will generally have 10-20% black and whites and the remaining in a clean and crisp custom film finish.

Can our family and friends take pictures at the same time you are?The pictures your friends and family make are as important as mine. Just in a different way. We say fire away... unless they are getting in my way and costing me time... I will be happy to work beside any and all photographers. Let’s be honest...if their pictures come out better than ours... we have bigger problems than crowd control.

Do we get printing rights?
OF COURSE! You will get a print release with your online gallery, which gives you the rights to print and share your photos however you'd like!! However, as the photographers, I retain the copyrights.

Do you offer prints and albums?
Yep! If you want it, I've got it. Of course, you can make prints of your own, but I highly recommend that if you plan to invest in art for your home, you go through my professional print lab.

Can we read some reviews?
Please do!! Check them out on Facebook and Google+

Can I view a full wedding gallery?
You bet! As soon as you inquire, I will send out several examples for you to look at!

Do you offer elopements/travel packages?
Heck yeah I do, I'm based in Southwestern Ontario, but I can fly anywhere! Let me know where you're getting married, and I'm sure we can sort out a sweet deal.

D0 you have backup equipment?
Absolutely.  Any professional you hire for your wedding should!

Do you backup your photos?
1000%, I take the security of my couples images very seriously, because I'm the guardian protecting your treasured possessions. On the night of your wedding, your images will already have multiple copies including an offsite copy.
